The research field of Business Process Management (BPM) is dedicated to the management of processes in organizations, combining foundations from theoretical computer science, data science, and organizational management. This heterogeneous nature is reflected in a methodical plurality, which allows researchers to address complex challenges, but is challenging for young researchers to master. For this reason, we are currently editing a Springer volume on "Research Methods for Business Process Management", to which many scholars in the field have contributed. This research stay is dedicated to completing three remaining chapters of that book and getting the manuscript ready for submission.
