The retreat 2025 brings together the group's researchers to explore the intersection of neuroscience, software engineering, and the evolution of complex systems. Through a series of collaborative discussions and activities, we will dive into our ongoing projects, including the neuroscientific foundations of program comprehension, the study of socio-technical congruence in distributed software projects, and the performance evolution of configurable software systems. This retreat is a chance to discuss how brain science, software development, and system adaptability all work together to shape the future of software engineering.
