The LIPIcs Editorial Board has seen a change in leadership: the term of Meena Mahajan (Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, IN) as chair ended in October 2025. She is succeeded by Daniel Král’ (Leipzig University, DE and Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, DE), who has been a member of the Board since 2021.
We thank Meena Mahajan for her dedicated service and her contributions to strengthening LIPIcs as a leading open-access publication venue for computer science conference proceedings.
Daniel Král’ expressed his appreciation for the appointment, stating:
I am honored to serve as the next chair of the LIPIcs Editorial Board. I appreciate the trust of the Editorial Board members, by which I also feel bound. I also feel bound by the prominent position of LIPIcs in the computer science community and the substantial contribution that LIPIcs has made to promoting open access.
We look forward to continuing the successful development of LIPIcs under his leadership.
