Coronavirus / COVID-19 / SARS-CoV-2

The proceedings of conferences that have to be cancelled, postponed, or re-located (also to the virtual room) due to the COVID 19 pandemic can be processed and published as planned.

Metadata such as the venue or time of the event or even the frontmatter/preface can be adjusted at short notice immediately before the actual publication.

OASIcs: OpenAccess Series in Informatics

The OpenAccess Series in Informatics offers a venue for the Open Access and online publication of peer-reviewed proceedings based on international scientific events (workshops, symposia, conferences, ...) that took place outside of Schloss Dagstuhl.


Useful Information

  • We charge the total cost of the entire volume to the conference organisation. We do not charge individual authors.
  • We charge a Processing Charge of 60 EUR (net) ...
    • per published paper (if the average count of main text pages (number of pages excluding title page and bibliography) per article is ≤ 20)
    • per block of 20 main text pages (otherwise).

  • Each volume is published on our publication server DROPS (
  • Each article is published under a Creative Commons CC BY license ( The authors retain their copyright.
  • Each volumes is assigned an ISBN.
  • Each article is assigned a DOI and a URN.
  • The digital archiving of each volume is done in cooperation with the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek/German National Library (
