Scammers have been mailing some seminar participants to phish for credit card information. We do not ask for credit card details for room reservations or registrations for participation. Please verify that emails from Dagstuhl are indeed from our domain.
It has been brought to our attention that scam emails whose subject line contains the seminar title are being sent to participants, asking them to reveal their credit card details to "hold their hotel reservations".
Please delete these emails if you receive them.
We automatically reserve a room for registered participants - at our centre, not at a hotel. We will never ask you to enter your credit card details anywhere in order to hold your room reservation or registration.
Always make sure that emails purporting to come from Dagstuhl were actually sent from the domain "dagstuhl.de".
