Kategorien:
We are pleased to announce that a new scientific journal - Transactions on Graph Data and Knowledge (TGDK) - has been added to Dagstuhl Publishing's portfolio. TGDK is a Diamond Open Access journal that publishes research contributions relating to the use of graphs for data and knowledge management.

Dagstuhl Publishing is a scientific publishing house with a content focus on high-quality research papers in computer science. In line with the mission of Schloss Dagstuhl – Leibniz Center for Informatics, namely to promote scientific communication and free exchange for researchers in computer science, Dagstuhl Publishing is fully committed to the idea of Open Access: This is reflected in its own offerings, but also in the guiding principle of its publishing activities, which is to promote the transformation of the publication culture in computer science towards open access.

The publishing house was therefore delighted with the proposal of the Editors in Chief Lalana Kagal (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, U.S.), Aidan Hogan (IMFD; DCC, University of Chile, Chile), Ian Horrocks (University of Oxford, U.K.), and Andreas Hotho (University of Würzburg, Germany) to include the newly founded journal Transactions on Graph Data and Knowledge (TGDK) in the publishing portfolio. TKDG's outstanding editorial board and the very coherent concept, among other things, clearly convinced the publisher and the publisher's advisory board that the new journal would be an excellent addition.

TKDG articles are peer-reviewed and published according to the principle of Diamond Open Access, i.e., they are available online and free of charge for both readers and authors. Authors retain their copyright. Diamond Open Access is made possible in particular by the financial support provided by the Semantic Web Science Association (SWSA) which is greatly acknowledged.

The very first issue of the new journal will be published by the end of this year. For more information, please visit the journal's website https://www.dagstuhl.de/tgdk.
