On the desk in their guest room, all guests will find a lateral flow SARS-CoV-2 self test that they should use upon arrival (usually Sundays) before they have contact with other guests. In addition, all guests should take another rapid antigen SARS-CoV-2 self-test before breakfast on the third day of their event, which Schloss Dagstuhl will put in their rooms the day before.
The following video provides an introduction to the self test procedure:
If your test is positive, please isolate in your room and use the phone to call our staff for further instructions, such that things like, e.g., a PCR test to confirm the result can be arranged (an isolation quarantine due to a positive test on site can be spent in Dagstuhl at cost price).
Please keep the following safety advice in mind:
- If you have had a nosebleed from one nostril in the last 24 hours, only swap the other nostril.
- If you have a piercing on one side, only swap the other nostril.
- If you have a piercing on both sides, remove the piercing on the side you are going to swap.
