This retreat is organized by the System Security research group at the Center for IT-Security, Privacy and Accountability (short: CISPA) at Saarland University, Germany. The chair of Prof. Dr. Christian Rossow will meet during these three days in order to revisit recent scientific developments in the area of security and privacy, to discuss future group research interests and to frame and discuss the PhD thesis agendas of the young scientists in the group. Topics that will be discussed include machine learning for security, automatic software exploitation, security of Software Defined Networks, evolutions in malware research, or hardware-assisted security.
