Despite the significance of computer science for technical, medical and social changes there is no adequate press coverage of computer science (in contrast to information technology). The field of computer science shares this fate with other abstract areas such as mathematics or engineering sciences. For this reason Schloss Dagstuhl decided in 2007 to organize the first workshop on scientific journalism "Reporting on Computer Science" for young journalists and voluntary staff. The positive response has resulted in turning this into an annual event (see http://www.dagstuhl.de/10242 [1] ).
Simultaneously Schloss Dagstuhl is conducting active press reporting on seminars that seem to be interesting for the wider public eye. To provide interested journalists with a brief overview we have summarized a view selected seminars. The overview can be accessed here [2] .
We are gladly willing to arrange interviews with employees or seminar participants of Schloss Dagstuhl. Any journalists interested are kindly requested to contact us prior to the event. Regarding reports, film recordings, and photographic material please also contact the Dagstuhl Office
